Landscape Design

Landscaping design combines elements of science and art to create a functional, aesthetically and pleasing extension of indoor living to outdoors living. One purpose of landscape design is to create or blend man's technology (his house or building) into a natural surrounding. In order to work towards a desirable landscape design, the landscape horticulturist is required to have a working knowledge of design principles and art elements.
